In the short amount of time between this post and the last, I have finally eaten my first crepe (sugar & lemon, of course) and had our first chocolat chaud since arriving in France. Hurrah!!!
Sadly, it wasn't a proper hot chocolate with a jug of hot milk and a jug of melted chocolate, but it was bloomin' lovely so I'm not complaining. Have yet to find a place that does the real deal so shall keep you posted and will take you when you get here in February.
Crepe was fantastic though. So glad I finally had one!!
Anyways, that's all I've got to update with for now.

Good Morning!
Just finished for the morning. I have almost completely lost my voice, I can only whisper at people which would make skyping an absolute nightmare but other than that all is well :)

Boxing Day
Today we slept in til gone 11 which was obviously much needed!
All the chalet staff met at the top of a chair lift for a bit of bubbly today and then we all went skiing together as one big group which was really fun. Here's a picture of us all.

Our Christmas dinner was rather successful, there were no complaints from our guests who are LOVELY this week. One lady is such a darlin' cos she helped us with the drying up because our dishwasher is broken :(

Black run baby, yeah!
Today Fiona and I went down our first black run of the season. It was so sunny today and the snow has turned a bit slushy wish was a pain but got down a black safe and sound. Hoorah! Only fell over once, and it wasn't much of a fall it was more of a topple over after I lost my balance. So no broken bones or bruises which is excellent!!!
Looks like tomorrow is going to be a really busy one so Skype session looks rather unlikely which is rather upsetting. After breakfast I have been rota'd into doing children's lunch and then apparently Simon (the resort manager) said it's kind of tradition to meet up on the slopes in the afternoon and then we've got to get their xmas meal cooked and then it's our day off on Boxing day so PARTY!!! If I get even 10 minutes spare I will try my absolute hardest to Skype you, especially the gang at Grandma Dorothy's. We'll have to see, if not I'll find a spare moment on Boxing Day.

Update!
Ugh! Sorry I haven't updated like I'd hoped I would. Been so sooo busy.
On Friday, Fiona was ill all day so Will and I had to do her jobs as well as ours but thankfully we managed to get out on the slopes for an hour or 2.
Georgie (one of the reps) and I went for a ski and we met up with Tom and David. Then after about an hour we went to help Amy - a chalet host, go down her first run that wasn't the nursery slope which was funny.
Yesterday was not a great day, Fiona was still feeling a bit ill, but significant;y better, Will was hungover cos his family is over so he and he brother went out and I had a bit of a head cold. Did you know that taking 3 ibuprofen at once causes you to throw up? Well now I know hahahaa, felt much better once I had though. And I treated myself to a 3 hour nap which was much needed!! Feeling absolutely fine now though, I'm blaming it on the need of some extra sleep instead of skiing.
Our guests gave us all 50euros tip EACH yesterday so that's not bad going!
Today Will (our host) was switched with Katy who was working alone and us 3 worked really well together and I think Katy's humour is much similar to mine and we were singing christmas songs all afternoon.
Here's a fun fact - Katy is from Dereham!
And there's a child care member called Carla who lives in Reymerston!!! Can you bloody believe it?!?!
